About the Author: David Bershad is professor of art history at the University of Calgary. He received his Ph.D. at UCLA. David has written numerous articles on the people and places in Italy and has received many honors and awards.;Carolina Mangone is pursuing her masters in art history. She is active in both the art community and Italian-Canadian community. Carolina studied in Rome and has traveled extensively in Italy and throughout Europe.
